This is a very special place with great gardens, a fantastic restaurant for lunch, and great trails if you want to get some exercise. The trails are well marked and maintained.

One of Puerto Vallarta Jewel. Enjoy the early morning walk, or anytime during the day and have an experience surrounded with love of nature. Fantastic day tour for all, families, groups, couples or just by your own. Dont forget your camera, hat, mosquito repelent and enjoy your walk. Anytime of the year is worth to visit, my favourite time was during a rainstorm. In summer time you can swim at the river. You might consider to be part of the supporting community.

Catch a bus south of town to the botanical gardens. This large botanical sanctuary offers a great collection of plants many in natural habitat. The gardens combine many manicured areas with several natural pathways. An excellent restaurant featuring locally produced vanilla tops off an enjoyable experience. Buses are available from Zona Romantica.
