This is one of the oldest restaurants in Malindi. Enjoy mshakiki (skewed meat) from 4pm onwards as well as delicious Swahili cuisine throughout the day.
At the coast ,we call these sort of restaurants Cafes pronounced "Keffs" - little restaurants where local food;we're talking Biriani, Pilau, Coconut beans, Local greens, seafood(duh), chapatis and an array of Swahili snacks(especially in the mornings and evenings) is prepared fresh every day in advance and served pretty much immediately you order} they prepare their food in massive 'sufurias' and keep them hot until its done. The food is always amazing and extremely affordable I LOVE Swahili food and have it all the time! They do take out as well.
