Situated inside the Sanskar Kendra designed by Le Corbusier , this is an ode to Ahmedabad's love affair with kites. Kite enthusiasts can appreciate the delicate pare kites, with intricate applique and mirror work, while reading about the history of kite flying. Most kites here are courtesy of Bhanu Shah's personal collection. The film archive next door with it's retro movie posters and the city museum on the first floor of the same building are a happy bonus, even though the dilapidated state of the Sanskar Kendra is some what of a downer.
