The food is alright, the service sometimes not so good but the terrace is the best of town. Great views. You can take the children as well. www.deschalkse.nl

Riverside view, outside terrace. Try the combination of renting out an electric sloop for a couple of hours to explore Weesp by boat at Genietenopdevecht.nl and taking a drink/snack or simple meal afterwards at De Schalkse.
