If you are in need of a way to feel better about yourself or to workout some of those toxins from all that drinking… Mt. Charleston is the place for you! Less than an hour out of the city you can go hiking in the lush forest. There are SO many hiking trails to see, but my favorite is Mary Jane Falls. It is a quick and popular hike that will take you to a beautiful viewpoint of the forest, a cave and a waterfall that only sometimes is flowing! Vegas is a desert, remember?

15 minutes to the base by car, 25-30 to the top, 20-25 degrees cooler nice getaway without giving up conveniences of being in town. ski, hike, or relax.
