Long undeveloped beach and hinterland national park with bird hide and wetlands, kangaroos, wallabies and wombats, walking trails, fishing, horse-riding and swimming. On Bass Strait about 40 minutes' drive from Base Camp.
Wide array of local animal life on a spectacular preserved peninusula preserved as a national park nestle in behind the famous "9 mile beach"
We love our local National park. It has some amazing walks that reward you with spectacular views. Some walks also take you to the beach which you will often have to yourself. The wildlife is everywhere and if you go at dusk the plains come alive with more animals then you can count with an amazing sunset backdrop. If you go in business hours the ranger office is open and they can help you make the most of your time here.
