Originally from Middelburg, a small town in northern South Africa, Chef Jan-Hendrik van der Westhuizen opened the JAN restaurant in September 2013. His cuisine is a subtle blend of French gastronomy and South African recipes dear to his heart. his childhood such as melktert or biltong.
