15 minute drive. This is a beautiful looped nature walk. Take a picnic and enjoy the outdoors.

Interesting shortish walk - about 2 km but you can make it longer and linger as you ponder mankind's follies. Good for dog walking.

If you visit Lismore then just a short distance away you can find Ballysaggartmore Towers situated in pleasant woodland walks on the Ballyduff road about 5km from Lismore.

Referred by locals as the 'Towers Walk' - this is situated about 4Kms out of Lismore (well signposted). There are some easy, safe walking paths set amongst some beautiful woodland. The history of the Towers is less pleasant to learn about.

Local lore suggests that the grand entrance lodges were built as a prelude to an extravagant mansion that Keily-Ussher intended to build but never did as he ultimately ran out of funds due of their construction, and that his building pursuits were spurred on by his jealous wife who was envious of her sister in-law who lived at the stately Strancally Castle
