A down-home vibe makes this barbecue spot an incredible equalizer, breaking the barriers and formality that sometimes exist between colleagues. I’ve had real bonds formed over a rack of Southern-style ribs, braised collard greens, and tater tots at this place! The dining room is tight but the picnic benches in front are great for chill meetings. Melt-in-your-mouth brisket; the hoecakes, which could really double as dessert; and the Best Damn Chick’n Sandwich Y’Ever Had—that’s their name, but I would concur!
