A beautiful walk (5km) around the Moerputten nature reserve. The highlight is the Moerputtenbrug, an old railway bridge across water full of water lilies. The bridge also takes on a beautiful color around sunrise and sunset. The walk is also fun for children. Just before you go on the bridge, you can take a path down to the left for a nice view & photo point. Please note: this walk includes stairs. The starting point is the parking lot on the Deutersestraat, about 300m before Deutersestraat 21 in 's-Hertogenbosch.

Grab one of the push bikes and explore this bit of nature. There´s an old bridge crossing the nature reservoir which is definitely worth a visit!

dit is een heel bijzondere plek omdat de Moerputtenbrug deel uitmaakte van het 'halve zolen lijntje' van Den Bosch naar Waalwijk. Echt de moeite waard; er is ook een plankenwandelpad aangelegd omdat het gehele gebied drassig en moerassig is.

Het is een van de weinig overgebleven laagveenmoerassen ten zuiden van de grote rivieren. Het 118 hectare grote terrein behoort tot de Natura 2000-gebieden.
