Unique statue in the marketplace. For some reason this small statue is important landmark for people in Oulu. Some people love it, so give a try and see it.

Symbol of Oulu - statue of local policeman located in the heart of the city - Tori or Market Square. A lot of souvenir shops, restaurants. Summer time - open market.

Things that you need to see in Oulu. "fat policeman statue" :) There is also market area with the old warehouse buildings and market hall is a fine.
