Westhaven is the main surfing beach and the pulse of the Westport surfing scene. There are limitless places to visit the beach in Grayland and Westport, but this one has the best waves and a very fun assortment of driftwood that people have made into forts and wind shelters. Good bathrooms and outside showers make this a great place to spend a day at the beach. ***This is a state park which requires a Discovery Pass or you can park outside the park and walk in***

Gorgeous beach for watching the surfers! Or go to the right of the jetty where you'll find a more sheltered bay perfect for swimming! The jetty creates a barrier which makes for good swimming conditions to the right and great waves for surfing on its left side. Westhaven and South Beach are also the two amazing beaches in Westport where cars aren't allowed to drive on the beach, which gives them a different vibe then most beaches in Washington, and makes them some of the most peaceful and picturesque.

Westhaven State Park near Westport, WA is the premier surfing location in Washington state. The rock jetty creates waves and sand dunes that make this park a destination. Come here and join the surfers or bring a blanket and watch!
