A very unassuming exterior hides a wonderful and stalwart sushi place in the International District. If you like sushi, get a reservation and come here!

Tsukushinbo is an authentic Japanese Izakaya with chefs from Japan applying their culinary skills on a delightful menu or local seafood delicacies. Intimate small restaurant just 1 min walk down the street from the Panama. Highly recommended. You may have to reserve in advance as can get full quickly every night.

For affordable, traditional sushi, Tsukushinbo is the place to go. The ambience makes you feel like a true insider - It's located off of a side street in the International district that makes it feel a bit like a sushi speakeasy, and the chef serves up types of fish that I hadn't even heard of before.
