Reykjavík's only white beach is popular on summer days but also all year around among Sea swimmers, even in winter. But caution, sea swimming in cold water requires training and for beginners wet suits.

One of my favorite places to go in my off time to enjoy the outdoors and the ocean. Big hot tub, changing rooms and showers. Man made sea defences close off beautiful loon where the ocean mixes with warm geothermal water, so you can enjoy the ocean in a higher temperature. Beautiful walk as well, which takes aprox. 25 min.

Really nice beach. You can jump in the ocean and the relax in the hot tub and Sauna. Just right a cross Nauthólsvík is a restaurant called Nauthóll. Really good food and service.

Feel like trying sea swimming? well this is the place. Once you've chilled in the cool sea (from 2°C in winter to 10-14°C in summer), you can warm up in the pool heated up with geothermal water.

A great place to visit free showers and hot tub and go for a swim in the Atlantic ocean.
