"Trapizzino" is located in VIa G. Branca 88 in Testaccio district. Trapizzino is the corner of pizza filled with the symbolic recipes of international, Italian and Roman cuisine. Invented 10 years ago by Stefano Callegari, Il Trapizzino is a white pizza pocket closed on the sides made with a mixture of soft wheat flour and yeast. The Tastes, among the historians and the novelties, range from chicken alla cacciatora to the tongue in green sauce, from coda alla vaccinara to meatballs with sauce, from zighinì to picchiapò to Roman tripe ... and much more.

This was definitely one of the biggest surprises while being in Rome. Trapizzino is one of the newest things in the street food and I am not even sure that I want to write about it, because I am scared that it will become too "mainstream" and lose its specialty, since it is not that famous out of Rome. The trapizzino are delicious but not huge so we had two each. I had the aubergine and the chicken both were tasty my favourite was the aubergine as it came with a bit of cheese and some special sauce on top. Be warned these aren't easy to eat but they are worth it.

they concieved this very particular street food that is made from a triangular piece of pizza bianca, stuffed with some of most amazing roman recepies like meatballs and others. Also please try a SUPPLI, a rice ball with different sauces, fried. Heaven !

a sort of italian fast food. Sandwiches filled with our tradition! If you are vegetarian you need to try "parmigiana", if you are not do not miss "pollo alla cacciatora"
