EN: Another restaurant of reference and tradition in Lagos, a little more formal and with a higher price than 'Cantinho Algarvio'. But the Portuguese food, seafood, meat, fish ... is delicious and the service very friendly. It has a large terrace. In Summer is a very busy street full of tourists. Also recommended by Michelin. Book in advance. PT: Outro restaurante de referência e tradição em Lagos, um pouco mais formal e com um preço mais alto que o Cantinho Algarvio. Mas a comida portuguesa, marisco, carnes, peixe… é deliciosa e o atendimento muito simpático. Tem uma esplanada cuidada e grande. De Verão é uma rua muito movimentada de turistas. Também recomendado pela Michelin. Reservar com antecedência.

Located in the centre of the historic town of Lagos, Don Sebastião Restaurant has had a faithful following of regular diners since it opened in May 1979. The restaurant has gained an enviable reputation. The formula for their success is delicious traditional fresh food and a warm, welcoming friendly service. Main courses include pork chops with figs, succulent shellfish rice, shrimp cooked with savoury spices and grilled fresh fish.

One of our all-time favourites located in the pedestrian center of Lagos, only a few kilometers away from Luz. The menu is typical, products are fresh, you can handpick your fish from the "catch of the day" platter, and the staff is both friendly and professional. The decor of the restaurant itself reflects the history of Portugal, both on the walls and in the wine cellar.
